GLASS HOUSE PR REPORT - OUR APPROACH

GLASS HOUSE PR REPORT - OUR APPROACH

When Glass House PR approached us to design their landmark "State of PR in Africa" report, we knew this wasn't just about making data look pretty. This was about bringing human stories, perceptions, and cultural contexts to life in a way that respected both the research and the diverse African perspectives it represented.

Our design process began by immersing ourselves in the cultural significance behind the statistics. Rather than importing generic visual metaphors, we created a design language that celebrated distinctly African visual traditions while maintaining clarity and insight. Each data visualization was crafted to reveal the human experiences behind the numbers – showing not just what people thought about PR across the continent, but why those perspectives mattered and how they connected to lived experiences.

The finished report doesn't just present information; it creates conversations. By weaving authentic African visual elements with clear information hierarchy, we transformed what could have been a standard industry document into a cultural touchstone. Readers don't just learn about PR trends; they connect with the human stories driving those trends across diverse African contexts.

The report has become a reference point for understanding not just PR metrics, but the people and cultural forces shaping communication across the continent – precisely the kind of human-centered approach that defines every Cojani Labs project.
